The process of paperwork can be confusing. Our Circle of Care is here to help you.
After an incident of accident, inform your car insurance provider of the accident and any injuries that you have sustained. Regardless of who was at fault for the accident, your insurance provider is responsible for making health and rehabilitation services available to you. If you were a passenger in someone else’s car, or were outside of the vehicle but still involved in the accident, contact your own auto insurance provider if you have one. Your adjuster will help you determine through whose insurance your claim will be processed. Once you have a motor vehicle accident injury claim initiated with the relevant insurance provider we can take care of the rest.
After booking an initial assessment with us, our team will collect all the necessary information to fill out and submit an MVA rehabilitation insurance claim on your behalf. We would require:
- The claim number corresponding to the accident
- Your insurance policy number and policy holder
- The date of accident
- Private/extended insurance information (If you have extended health insurance coverage you are legally required to exhaust these benefits first, and then the remainder of your therapy will be covered by your auto insurance provider)
- Lawyer’s contact details (if applicable)
- Insurance adjustor details
During your initial assessment, our therapists will help examine your accident related injuries, the nature of the symptoms and what activities are affected, any medical diagnosis or physical tests if required, and will devise a treatment and rehabilitation plan which will include pain management, massages, and exercises to speed up the healing process and prevent developing chronic pain conditions. A gradual return to work and sport will be included in the plan to help maximize your recovery.
